Schalke was in 1-0 disadvantage against Aachen, but they managed to get the equaliser and later, the winning goal. 2-1.
Schalke are now 8 points ahead of Bayern.

Always rated Schalke better than Bremen, and of course, definately this season. This was proved yesterday, Schalke took a great victory away in Bremen.

Nikon Jevtic [Youth team]
Nikon Jevtic
he is considered as a "wonderkind" - and will play in Germany now. FC Schalke 04 signed one of the most desired talents of world-soccer: Nikon Jevtic. The 13-year old, who was previously at FC Valencia and Austria Vienna, signed a contract for the Bundesliga giant until 2009 with the option on further years.
He was born in england to serbian parents.

Bad news for Schalke: the "Royal Blues" will have to make do without Sören Larsen for at least two weeks. But there is hope for Levan Kobiashvili.
Larsen tore a muscle fibre in his left thigh on Friday. The Danish striker is definitely ruled out of the home match against Hertha BSC on Saturday, February 10th.
Kobiashvili fit for Saturday?
Things look a bit better for Levan Kobiashvili. The Georgian had suffered a toe injury in a duel with Frankfurt's Benjamin Huggel.
"The problem is not the bone, but the bed of the nail", Schalke club doctor Dr. Thorsten Rarreck explained.
Rarreck is hopeful that Kobiashvili will be fit for Saturday.

The "Royal Blues" will have to make do without Ralf Fährmann for months.
The 18-year-old tore a tendon in his right thigh in team training on Wednesday morning.
Fährmann's season over?
The injury doesn't requiry surgery, but will be treated conservatively. Germany U19 goalkeeper Fährmann will be out for a long time, however.
"Probably the season is over for him", club doctor Dr. Thorsten Rarreck said.
Slomka: "Really bitter"
"This is really bitter. Ralf is just with us for a month. He integrated wonderfully and made a strong impression", head coach Mirko Slomka said.
Toni Tapalovic, who played two matches for FC Schalke 04 reserves this season, will take Fährmann's place in training in the months to come.

The Turkish international will leave FC Schalke 04 in the summer, the Bundesliga leaders have announced.
At the beginning of the week club officials were still hopeful that Hamit Altintop would sign a new deal with the Royal Blues, but on Thursday the 24-year-old Turkey international returned from the friendly in Georgia with bad news.
Müller regrets loss of Hamit
On arrival in Gelsenkirchen the versatile midfielder informed general manager Andreas Müller of his intention to leave the club at the end of the season.
"We wanted him to stay", said Müller, "because we need players of his quality. Even though he hasn't always been in the starting line-up I consider him a first-team regular. Unfortunately he's now decided against us. We regret that very much but would like to wish him all the best for the future."
