LISBON, June 25 (Reuters) - Uniao Leiria midfielder Hugo Cunha collapsed and died during a game with friends on Saturday, Lusa news agency reported.

Club doctor Amilcar Silva said no health problems had previously shown up during examinations of 28-year-old Cunha.

Cunha collapsed during a morning game with friends at Montemor-o-Novo, about 70 km (45 miles) east of Lisbon.

He was dead on arrival at hospital from an apparent cardio-respiratory arrest, Lusa said.
