Academica signed 3 brazilians in one shot

Flávio Ribeiro na Académica

ASF

«É a minha primeira experiência no futebol português. A minha principal característica é a força e facilidade no remate à baliza», revelou o avançado.

Don't Académica have one of the best followings outside the big three?

Académica had quite a few fans at the stadium today, making some noise for their team.

I would like to see a team from Algarve back in the Super Liga, but Portimonense are really struggling this year and Farense are near bottom of the Segunda B Sul. Olhanense, Cajuda's home town, near to the top of the Segunda B Sul.

Fcuking hell, I can't beleive Académica beat them 5-0!!!!!!!

Marco Aurelio played pretty good in goal. I feel sorry for him having such a crap defence in front of him. Belenenses signed alot of strikers this January, maybe they should have signed some defenders instead!!!!!!

Porto coach Jose Mourinho has claimed he turned down an approach from Tottenham earlier this season.

Mourinho admitted that he spoke with a Spurs representative before his side's Champions League clash with Marseille in October - but told the Londoners he was not prepared to leave Portugal until the summer.

He told reporters: 'We were in Marseille for the Champions League and someone accredited to Tottenham spoke with me about moving right away to England.

'I told him if it was a proposition for next season then we could talk to see what could happen.
