for Jorge Jesus was a dreaming coming true, his been waiting for this since age 13, he was seated next to his grandfather when he died during the final between Setubal vs Academica

Com a vitória sobre o Braga, Jorge Jesus garantiu a sua primeira presença numa final da Taça, feito que nunca tinha alcançado como jogador nem enquanto treinador. O técnico dos azuis frisou que "o Belenenses foi um justo vencedor", lembrando que "o Braga estava pior fisicamente do que o Belenenses e isso notou-se", factor importante para a sua equipa vencer, apesar de elogiar "a boa reacção do adversário após o 1-0".

Bastante emocionado e com as lágrimas nos olhos, Jesus revelou que este "é um sonho concretizado e alimentado desde os 13 anos", fazendo uma homenagem ao seu avô: "Em 1977, estive na final entre o Setúbal e a Académica, com a minha família e o meu avô, no prolongamento, sentiu-se mal e morreu ao meu lado. Tinha 13 anos, nunca mais me esqueci e queria estar no Jamor para lhe prestar a homenagem. Hoje consegui." O técnico sublinhou que "o clube, que vive muito dos êxitos do passado, precisa disto para recuperar identidade" e espera ver o Jamor "vestido metade de verde e metade de azul".

Sobre o penálti de Frechaut, Jorge Jesus é peremptório: "Já vi na televisão e não tenho dúvidas."

Jorge Jesus gave a brilliant tactical lesson to Paulo Bento last night, Belenenses played a perfect game.

Credit to Jesus, he is a great coach. Should get a chance in a bigger club, wouldn't mind him coming to Porto. He is arrogant enough
