Burrows not to join
Frank Burrows has turned down the assistant manager's role with Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest.
City Ground boss Gary Megson offered Burrows the chance to renew the partnership the pair had previously forged in the past few seasons with West Bromwich Albion.
However, the former Portsmouth, Cardiff City and Swansea City manager has decided to decline the opportunity for 'family reasons'.
"Frank has turned down the offer to join us at Forest due to family reasons," Megson told Forest's official website.
"He has thought long and hard about it and feels he could not necessarily give the club 100 percent."
The news means that Megson will continue to search for a number two, despite appointing Alan Crawford as first team coach.
