Reid Gone By Tuesday?
Andy Reid's Forest future was today thrown into further doubt.
Reds boss Joe Kinnear has revealed the club are involved in "business deals" he wants to tie up before the Premiership transfer deadline next Tuesday.
Forest midfield star Reid has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
And Kinnear admits he is looking to do business with the White Hart Lane club.
The manager said: "We have got two or three business deals going on at the moment concerning lots of players.
"There are one or two I wouldn't mind taking from Tottenham and I am looking to speak to them. We will take it from there and see what the reaction is.
"I am aware the transfer deadline runs out soon I am trying to move things along.
"I would love to have something done by the weekend."
He added: "The chairman is well aware of the offers I have put in for people and I am trying to do some deals.
"I don't think it will be a problem to bring players in but the ones I have gone for are earning between ten and 12 grand a week and I am trying to get them for the same money over longer contracts."
This sounds good to me. But i dont think reidy will be going TBH

I think he will. I would never fault the lad for is effort, but he want's to go, and if we can get Micheal Brown in aswell, I think it would be the best bit of buissness we've done for a long while. BUT according to Mark Arthur, JK won't see much of the money as most of it will towards our debt to the council re the trent end!

Yeah, but Now they have the Carrick deal going through, Plus they are putting in a bid for Figo (cant see that though) then he may remain a forest player until Jan at least!
As for Brown, i believe we will pull this one off, epecailly not they have Carrick!
Come on Jk, we need to replace Jess quickly!

No offence, but Reidy's talent is beyond Norwich!
But i perspnally think he will remain a forest player. But if he does go, good luck to him. Even the last four games he has worked his balls off for us, and he dont even want to be here anymore. he loves the club, and always will!
As for jess, he is nothing but a decent squad player, who you can throw on in the last 20mins!

thing is u gotta take the blows like losing a top player we had it happen to us few times were going to face our ex canary Bellamy tonight
if Forest go up this season and u still have Andy Reid then that would be great u will probably likely to keep him
was Andy Reid price tag £13 mill?? Kinnear put on him
**Edited** .. Ward played 1 game vs Mallorca in pre season friendly played very well and told the defence what to do ..sadly let in a goal but it was a screamer of a free kick ..a decent keeper i thought he looked!..shame hes 3rd in line

It was £10m , But only did that to get as much as possible for reidy. Plus if you think about it, Duff will struggle to get his pkace back on the left side of the ireland team, and he went to chelsea for 17m. There aint that many left siders anymore!
Put it this way, If Andy Reid was english, would he start on the left hand side on midfield?........Yes he would IMO!

no way Greeno is a complete god here and probably the 2nd best english keeper so far Paul Gallacher Scotland international keeper dont even get a shout in to get Greens shirt .. Ward will battle for the 2nd keeper spot with Gallacher
then again strong rumours linking Green away from Norwich could make Ward our number 1

nah, wardy aint good enough for the prem, he can't controll his area! He's a gr8 shot stopper, but not good enough on crosses.
I'm glad we brought Gerrard, he has earnt us at least 2 of our 4 points so far! (Especially agenst Wigan!)
