Darren Purse
Apparently my mate heard that Purse is joining Norwich as he is currently 4th choice Blues defender. You heard it here first : :

Scored equaliser against Liverpool in the 90th minute in the Worthington Cup final, also captained England u21's and also not long ago tipped for England senior squad.
The guy is truly class, but at the moment Cunningham and Upson are miles better. Would be a great great signing for you. One of the main reasons we stayed up last season.

Purse is class
better than Upson imo
he did the best clearance off the line I've ever seen
against us in Brums 1st prem game
Brum bought him after he played brilliantly against them for the O's in the autoglass wembley final (I was there!)
(remember tait's shitting on the villa Tshirt?)

We played Carlisle mate, we knocked Orient out in the early stages, Purse was wicked. Yeah i remember them clearences, only him stopped us getting an 8-0 drubbing.
I still however think Upson is better. It would make sense to keep Purse as Cunningham will retire after next season IMO. Would be great, Purse and Upson @ the back, 2 of Englands future (possibly).

Yeah was funny, even though he didnt play for us again after it which was harsh in my opinion. BTW, HRF the fee is believed to be around 500k.

leadership and experience, vital to a team like Brum, but Purse is simply a better player.

thought the red was a bit deb8able
he did put his arm out
but Gerrard broke through that
he actually tripped over his own leg after he was beyong KC
(but morally he deerved the red he tried2 pull him down)
