The Team for next season
As we are in a new league with cash we gunna be careful with it all so heres the team (of current players) we have and rate them:
Goalkeepers:
Rob Green - Very good i dont think we need a new replacement for him as hes near premiership standard
Joe Lewis - Very very young hasnt played a professional game to date and is about the 3rd choice keeper
OVERALL::NEW GOALKEEPER NEEDED FOR BACKUP BEHIND GREEN
Defenders:
Keith Briggs - only a reserve player to us definately shouldnt be a 1st team player while we in the Premiership but a ok replacement for the right side
Adam Drury - Very good our Captain definately shouldnt be replaced he has been dubbed the best left back outside the premiership ..now hes there how well would he do?
Malky Mackay - The big man was our key in the defence im sure Worthy will use him because him and Fleming have a great bond to work well a definate USE HIM!
Craig Fleming - Flemmo should be used! bit warey on his age but him and Malky in defence are very good hopefully good enough to stop the goals going in!
Marc Edworthy - Played his socks of for us this season hopefully he cares on that way next season i dont like his runs he does up on the right flank as he is known to lose the ball maybe worthy could look into a possible replacement
Jason Shackell - only a subs bench really but a very good player when used he played a few this season as replacement to Mackay but this time if Worthy brings a defender in he will drp in the line
OVERALL:::BRING IN A FEW DEFENDERS JUST IN CASE!
Midfielders:
Phil Mulryne - Has played in the Premiership for a total of 1 game with Man Utd but that isn't good enough ..he's a great player in the midfield he can player better than he has done this season but has scored vital goals
Gary Holt - Holt has been amazing as normal for us plays with pride and just doesnt stop running a scottish international maybe thats good enough for the premiership only time well tell
Jim Brennan - Plays well sometimes and can get on the score sheet maybe he will be a bench warmer next season but when he comes on he can settle the match
Mark Rivers - Rivers just hasn't been breaking the bread IMO he just doesnt put his work rate into the team he did score 4 goals this season fair play but he just is a bench warmer ..maybe we should sell up see how much teams would offer.
Damien Francis - WHAT A BARGAIN!! has been great throughout the season and is a key man the Dame i think should play next season hes just worked so hard for us
OVERALL::: BRING IN NEW MIDFIELDERS.. SELL RIVERS!!
Strikers:
Ryan Jarvis - A future star for us hes played a few games but just doesnt score like he did in his youth days! a star for the future but not now!
Ian Henderson - A player to look out for in the future just like Ryan Jarvis Hendo has a future and hopefully thats with Norwich ... Hendo can also score for us! maybe a few games in the Premiership.
Matty Svensson - Premiership rated player he can score from his headers and what a player he is! part of our 3 man buy what made us do what we did this season! him Hucks and Leon ...wow!
Paul McVeigh - More of a midfielder this season has disappointed me but does set up Huckerby and others quite well a major disappointment im definately sure he will play next season for sure!
Leon McKenzie - What a player!! scores vs Ipshits on his debut! a instant star ..part of our 3 upfront strikeforce ..i think he will be dropped next season maybe because we will get a new striker! hopefully Leon plays and performs perfectly
Zema Abbey - what can i say! poor Zema aint really played hes had a very bad injury and just been given a 3 month contract to prove himself poor bloke ..i hope he stays im a fan of him!
Darren Huckerby - Well its the Huck hes clearly been our star man all season hes lifted us from the low to the high! a major buy and what a buy! ...people say he wont last in the premiership but thats because people go by his man city career..never looked @ his leeds or coventry career! hopefully he proves them wrong ..he will definately be playing next season!
OVERALL: MAYBE A NEW STRIKER JUST IN CASE!..KEEP ABBEY!!
hope its been a good read maybe people will read this and think of Norwich as not just a team with small named players!
