New away shirt unveiled

The title winning side will be wearing a two tone green striped shirt at Premiership grounds next season following their promotion which ended nine years in the first division.

But fans can get a glimpse of the stylish new kit ahead of next August as these pictures show.

The kit — being worn here by City hero Darren Huckerby and his young son Ben — incorporates a number of new features and will be modelled by members of the first team squad at the home of joint sponsors Lotus Cars at Hethel, near Wymondham.

"The kit will run for the next two seasons and will be worn seven times next year," said Andrew Cullen, Norwich City's director of marketing and sales. "Those matches will be determined when the fixtures come out."

Mr Cullen said the price of the shirts would remain the same as they have been this season.

He said: "Season ticket holders and members will get a 10 per cent discount. 3,000 shirts will be available at the end of June/beginning of July.

"They will be first-come, first-served to season ticket holders and members by mail order and the rest of the shirts will be coming in for August."

Mr Cullen said a number of people at the football club — including Delia Smith and Nigel Worthington — had been given an input into the new strip design which will retain the Lotus emblem and again be manufactured by Xara.

hmm, it's alright, stripes are a bit dodgy, but i'll be getting the home shirt to replace my away one i think.

I'll be getting the new away shirt for definate but i never wear the away to games

that collar looks all posh on that shirt!
