Crewe 1-2 Norwich City
Crewe and Norwich fans partied on the Gresty Road pitch as the season came to an end with a 3-1 away win for the Division One champions this afternoon.
Iwan Roberts, captain for the day as his seven-year career with the Canaries drew to a close, made it a game to remember by scoring two goals. His final tally for Norwich is 96 goals in 306 games.
Roberts grabbed goal number 95 for the club in the 31st minute, assisted by Darren Huckerby.
Craig Fleming had opened the scoring for Norwich in the 28th minute, heading City ahead from a Phil Mulryne cross.
Dean Ashton's scored for Crewe in the 82nd minute when Robert Green appeared to fumble the ball.
Iwan made it number 96 in the 88th minute from a twice-taken penalty after Leon McKenzie was fouled by Anthony Tonkin.
