New Stand's new sponsor
Norwich City tonight announced that Jarrold are the sponsors of the new south stand at Carrow Road.
The 8182-seat structure which went up over the summer will officially be known as The Jarrold Stand. Lettering started going up on the stand earlier today.
The company have signed a four-year sponsorship deal.
Jarrold chairman David Hill told canaries.co.uk: “It's important for local businesses like Jarrolds to support their community and, with such an exciting future ahead, this investment couldn't have come at a better time.”
Norwich City marketing director Andrew Cullen, said: “We are extremely proud that Jarrold, a much-loved and respected Norfolk institution, have chosen to sponsor the new stand.
The Jarrold family business was founded in Woodbridge, Suffolk, in 1770 and now employs 800 people across its five trading divisions – including printing, publishing, software training and high street retailing. The family have run their department store in Norwich since 1823.
