Bertrand comes back!
Quote:
Chelsea defender Ryan Bertrand will return to Norwich on loan next season after a successful spell last year.
The 18-year-old left back will join until January and it is understood the Blues have agreed in principle to extend the loan over the whole season.
Norwich manager Glenn Roeder told the club website: "I'm very, very happy to be able to bring him back, he had become a fans' favourite."
The Canaries have brought the teenager in on an initial half-season loan deal.
Bertrand played 18 games in the Championship for the Canaries and helped them to avoid relegation.
The England Under-19 international originally joined Norwich in the January window and stayed with the Carrow Road outfit until the end of the season.

Great news he is a old brain on a young body pure pace and seems so vastly experienced in defence considering he is very young
Apprently Hull were going to spend £2 million on him to have him but so glad we got him back on loan ...for basically rest of the season
i saw him at every home game from his debut (Vs. Bury) onwards and i remember saying to my brother at the Bury game that he will be a Premiership regular in few years time ....hopefully with us!
Great news!

So you like him then?
What you think better LB or LW? haven't seen him play at champ level , only at reserve and England level, not same standard.
Is he a defender who can attack alot but get back? Has his crossing got better?
ohh so many questions..

i prefer him at left back role but now we have no Huckerby in left wing it will be good to see him push even more upfront also Bertrand will have to fight for the left back role with ever present and vastly experienced Adam Drury who was injured all of last season...both very good left backs so will be interesting to see...maybe Bertrand will get left midfield role
his crossing is pretty good something we lack in our whole team
he defintely gets back quick enough! we have a near same type of player in our right back role Jon Otsemobor!

Bertrand is much better as he seems so experienced
