Match preview from Skysports.com

Quote:
Norwich skipper Jason Shackell is the latest player to join the Canaries' extensive casualty list after suffering an ankle injury in a freak clash with team-mate Julien Brellier in the Carling Cup win over Rochdale.

Brellier and Dion Dublin are still recovering from Tuesday's exertions while Darren Huckerby and Adam Drury (both groin) and Ian Murray and David Strihavka (both illness) are also major doubts.

Cardiff captain Darren Purse is facing up to four weeks on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on the knee problem he sustained in the Carling Cup victory over Leyton Orient in midweek.

Glenn Loovens is expected to partner Roger Johnson at the heart of City's defence in Purse's absence when Cardiff make the trip to Carrow Road.

we was amazing in the 1st 20 mins ...and rest of the game we was the much better side...unlucky for us to lose as i thought this was the best football we played in ages

sloppy goals (all 3 off them)

the ref was amazingly poor though he missed so much stuff for both sides ...he is probably a Prem reject us Football League teams have been palmed with ...he was probably worst than Uriah Rennie

Norwich 1 Cardiff 2

Quote:
It was the archetypal game of two halves at Carrow Road as Cardiff came from behind to claim victory.

Simon Lappin (12) put Norwich ahead early on but Cardiff came back strong in the second half and Peter Whittingham levelled just after the hour.

The winner came just six minutes from time when Roger Johnson headed home Whittingham's cross.
