i never heard of him but he is young and seems to have the ability to help us and partner Cureton upfront

some info on this player
- he is 6ft 3 inches tall
- He actually had a trial at Watford last year but nothing came of it
- He finished top scorer in the Czech Rep. premier division last season 13 goals in 28 appearances he managed
his height could work well with us considering we have Jamie Cureton...who worked well with a tall striker in the name of Chris Iwelumo ..and look how them 2 worked together

Czech agrees Canaries deal
Quote:
Banik Ostrava striker David Strihavka has agreed a four-year deal with Norwich.
The two clubs are yet to finalise terms, but he should officially seal his move by the end of the week.
"We have received information that David has agreed with Norwich and now we need to find common ground with Norwich," Banik Ostrava board director Jakub Kahoun explained.
Strihavka is looking forward to his future in England.
"I am totally exhausted, I arrived in London on Tuesday morning, then moved to Norwich and then I was undergoing a never-ending medical," said the 24-year-old.
"I arrived at the hotel at 2am and until 3am we were negotiating over the possible contract," Strihavka told Banik's official website.
"Then when I arrived at the stadium, the whole decision making took a new direction.
"A beautiful stadium for 26,000 people, great facilities, nice people. They fulfilled what I had asked for.
"I talked with the coach, who had been before assistant coach at West Ham, they told me that they had bought two players and the goalkeeper from Celtic and that they wanted to fight for the promotion places. I could not refuse that.
"It is a weight off my heart that all the things around me have ended and that I can focus fully on football."

Norwich confirm Strihavka deal
Quote:
Norwich have signed Czech striker David Strihavka from Banik Ostrava.
Skysports.com revealed that Norwich were set to swoop for the 24-year-old last month, and the club have now confirmed that Strihavka has signed a four-year deal with the club.
Strihavka was top scorer in his country's top flight last season with 13 goals in 28 appearances and has played in the UEFA Champions League with Sparta Prague.
"We thought with his quality we weren't going to be able to get him because we thought there were a few Premiership clubs looking at him and top clubs in the Czech Republic, and I can understand why," Canaries boss Peter Grant (pictured) told the Norwich Evening News.
"He's getting touted as an international player very quickly - right now they're talking about him coming into the squad.
"I think the players can see, from the short period of time he trained this morning, the qualities he has."
The striker has made no secret of his desire to move to England in the past, and says he is looking forward to life at Carrow Road.
"It's a nice city, a nice training centre and I will enjoy starting the season," he said.
