Result:

Norwich City 3-2 Blackpool (After Extra Time)

Goals scored by:

Darren Huckerby x2
Chris Martin

great display by Huckerby causing there defence to tire and they just couldnt cut him down

also great to see Chris Martin get his 1st senior goal - a 1 for the future and showing he should be a 1st team starter!

a dodgy display from rest of the team but we won at the end of the game

I thought Huckerby was quite poor until he scored the first to be honest. Brown played well up front, his physique and movement reminds me of Ashton but when Blackpool put 5 men in the box every time a ball was crossed and nobody supported Brown there wasn't much he could do. He held it up well though. Croft got into good positions then picked the easiest pass everytime.

Dublin was class; if he hadn't lost pace he could still do it at the highest level. So good on the ball.

1-1 was about right; Blackpool passed the ball far better, doing far more with the ball than Norwich did and in a short space of time and could have been 3-0 up by the time Norwich equalised. They defended well too; Norwich seemed to have no idea what to do first half once the balls got cleared after the whipped them in. That said, I thought Norwich played much better in extra time and deserved the win overall, with a sustained spell of pressure.

Not bad for £8 anyway

It wasn't really, I didn't think they were very good.
