Canaries land Celtic keeper

Norwich City have signed Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old heads south to join the East Anglian club after falling down the pecking order in Gordon Strachan's side.

Poland international Artur Boruc has a firm grip on the number one jersey at Parkhead, so Marshall has taken the chance to wear the same number one shirt with The Canaries.

The Scotland international is looking forward to helping Peter Grant's side move up the Championship table.

"It's obviously great to get down here to England, which is a great place to play football and I'm really looking forward to it," Marshall told Norwich's official website.

"Artur has done really great, so my chances have been limited this season, so to get down here and hopefully get a few games under my belt is great and I want to repay the manager's faith he's showed in me so far."
