Vs. Leicester City
Goalkeeper Lee Camp is set for his Norwich debut as Paul Gallacher will be out for two weeks with an ankle injury.
Gallacher is just the latest in a long line of injured players, but on the plus side striker Ian Henderson could return from a knee ligament injury.
My Team:
GK) Lee Camp
DL) Adam Drury
DC) Jason Shackell
DC) Dion Dublin
DR) Jurgen Colin
MC) Carl Robinson
MC) Youssef Safri
MC) Dickson Etuhu
AML) Paul McVeigh
AMR) Darren Huckerby (kinda out of position but who else can we use? Andy Hughes is just shit)
ST) Robert Earnshaw

I'l probably be going reasonably regularly; there's a few of us, some went Saturday (I couldn't) and they got me a ticket for tomorrow's earlier so at £15 we'll be trying to go as often as we can, I'll have to see how things go. It'd only be spent down the bar so I might as well get a better use out of it.
I've been to one game in 10 weeks since I've been here...I need a fix

2-1 Norwich City
guess who scored the goal?
Yes .. Robert Earnshaw! ---- Assisted by Youssef Safri who came on for injured Drury - why Safri doesnt start anymore is beyond me
13th of the season - all off them scored in the league ..what a striker

Got going pretty well in the second half including 'Can you hear us Peter Grant' which was good.
I enjoyed the game a lot; two sides wanting to attack, I thought 1-1 was about right at half time and then Norwich deserved the win definitely. Huckerby played well; got a little lucky at times with rebounds off himself to creat chances but he tracked back well and put in a mixed bag of crosses. The second goal was brilliant - we could see it coming as Earnshaw made the run (we were in the lower tier of the corner between the Jarrold and the one behind that goal) and he finished brilliantly after a great pass. Thought Dublin had a mixed game; my mate went on Saturday and he said he was really composed then but today he seemed to row Z it or hoof it clear when it wasn't really necessary. Safri showed some nice touches when he came on.
On another note, Carrow Road must have about 3 times the amount of food choice of any other ground. They have the equivalent of a specials board - for pies. And sachets of mint sauce?!
My cheese and onion pie was perfect though and a good price at £1.90. I thought they were just joking about Delia and the catering but it's actually quality

sounds like you enjoyed your 1st experience there then!
my 1st game ever at Carrow Road was a boring 0-0 draw to QPR many years ago
anyway i must confess and say i never actually ate anythink from the inside ground! (i would eat a hotdog from the hotdog stall near the clubshop..look at my sig and its that white caravan thing)) - other than that i'd always go to Morrisons across the road for the food!
also did you get anythink from the clubshop? - if you go on a saturday and get there pretty earlish and wait outside the clubshop you may normally catch a glimpse of Delia Smith - if you ever wanted to see what shes like in real life ..i met her twice and shes pretty down to earth! and shes tiny
anyway onto the game:
i have no idea why Safri didnt start! Hughes is just a liabilty to the squad ..the next Gary Holt - Safri is much better and makes decent passes to our attacking line
i take it Hughes was on the right due to no Croft or Chadwick - so our righthand wing wasnt as good as norm
Huckerby & Earnshaw link up well ..even better with the inclusion of Lee Croft!
with Dublin ..he seems to play much better in defence than upfront!
hopefully we can keep this winning way up! - sunderland away next

I remember Safri scoring a great goal in the premiership against Newcastle towards the end of the season. The crowd kept shouting shoot whenever he got it.
Didn't go the club shop, wasn't too bothered to be honest; we picked up the tickets from the canary store in the Mall then went on a tour of the city's public houses, taking in the Bell Hotel, the Prince of Wales, Brannigan's sports bar and Lloyd's then went back into Brannigan's afterwards for a drink and watch the highlights of the games they were showing.
Yeah enjoyed it a lot. Huckerby and Earnshaw did link up well; Eagle came on at the end I think (long blonde hair?); I'm looking forward to seeing Huckerby and Chadwick on the wings when he's fit again but it was good to see a team looking to use the wings as often as possible. Leicester defended the crosses quite well much of the time but Norwich definitely deserved the win for the way they went forward in the second half. Huckerby missed a sitter first half (I think it was him) when the Leicester defence managed to let it hit them twice and rebound to him a few yards out but he sliced the shot.
