Worthington OUT
5 points from bottom and after our latest performances
The board will not sack Worthington so thats 1 probelm
apprently rumours of dressing room bust ups with the players very bad probelm
important players out injured (Safri, McKenzie, Drury, Shackell)
a manager who puts players in wrong roles
a manager who knows our weakness but doesnt strength it with the right players
a manager who once dropped HUCKERBY for ****ing Kevin Lisbie
Everyone long balling it to Ashton where poor Ashton cant do much vs 4 defenders
i personally dont blame the players..there doing what the manager is telling them and they are confused
we lost to Luton Town 4-2 ...4-0 down at half time
next game we lose to QPR ...3-0 ...3-0 down at half time and worthington did nothing
thing is we should be with the top lot fighting for promotion ..we have players who would scare most opposition
its a disgrace and somethink needs to happen
WORTHINGTON OUT

the only problem is that he used to manage ipswich
but burley doesnt appear to have much loyalty so that shouldnt be a problem

i'd love burley to take over ex ip****s or not he is a good manager
not many names to choose from who would do a good job .. John Gregory perhaps ..... Dave Williams our under 18 coach ...Brian Kerr as we seem to love irish managers (O'Neill/Worthington)

certainly a coach that understands that defending is of utmost importance to even the most attack minded side.
arsenal didnt go unbeaten all season without a great defence.

I'm sure Pikey Newell would accept if you offered it to him.
I wish :groan:
