how amazing ..another 1-1 draw
Andy Johnson's strike after 42 minutes saw Crystal Palace finally get their first points of the season.
The England striker slid the ball home from a Tom Soares cross after Dean Ashton had given Norwich the lead in the sixth minute.
Leon McKenzie went close for City soon after the break and he hit the post on 64 minutes as Norwich dominated.
McKenzie and Darren Huckerby had chances, before Johnson almost stole the points with a late volley.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Norwich boss Nigel Worthington:
"I thought the goal we scored was a great goal but the one we let in was very sloppy.
"I can understand what Robert was trying to do, getting the ball quickly out to Darren Huckerby, but there was no need to do that.
"That's decision-making and players have got to learn to get it right."
Crystal Palace assistant manager Neil McDonald:
"It feels good to get that first point on the board.
"I thought it was an excellent game of football between two good sides and a point each was a fair enough outcome.
"I'm pleased that our performances are gradually improving. This was our best yet, we have got to build on this and hopefully get our first win next week."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I reckon our fixtures are a bit dodgy too.. we had Southampton away and Palace home for the first two matches, and have Norwich away as the last one
oh well
good luck to norwich fans if you do a "us" this year, as you can gather its very frustrating.
