Vs. Inter Milan
Well here is our last friendly before the season
we very badly need a win ..but vs inter milan with the likes of Adriano/Zanetti/Martins etc... i cant see it happening
but you never know...
im going to the match ... i read that 20,000+ tickets have sold already ... hopefully a decent atmosphere on a most likely rainy night of football
My Team Vs. Inter:
GK) Robert Green
DL) Adam Drury
DC) Jason Shackell
DC) Jurgen Colin
DR) Matthieu Louis Jean
ML) Darren Huckerby
MC) Damien Francis
MC) Paul McVeigh
MR) Ian Henderson
ST) Dean Ashton
ST) Leon McKenzie
and if Worthy changes the side at half time:
GK) Paul Gallacher
DL) Simon Charlton
DC) Matthew Halliday
DC) Gary Doherty
DR) Rossi Jarvis
ML) Jim Brennan
MC) Andy Fisk
MR) Andy Hughes
AM) Darren Huckerby
ST) Ryan Jarvis
ST) Peter Thorne
a mix of youth and 1st teamers as its only a test of fitness levels and bringing back the morale which most players lost during last season

Im off 2nite as well now!! after the southen n colchester games i went to see this one better be more entertainin but we surely catn expect that much. i mean afterall its inter milan we are talkin about!
Mcveigh is injured still. Think Colin is lined up to be a right back from wat i saw at Southend and Colchester. Dohery will therefore get the nod unfortunately again.
Really not sure bout Peter Thorne and Andy Hughes. Looked pretty useless in the last two games.
Deano, Green n Hux its down to you boys!!
Francis sort your priorities out and become a devoted city player of F**k off and lets be avin the cash for a replacement. I will be interested to see how the fans treat Francis.
My team from the available players:
Green
Drury
Shackell
Colin (cant face the donkey or fleming in defence again)
Louis-Jean
Hux
Francis (loyalty time!!)
Hughes (who else is fit to play here??)
Henderson (maybe his time to shine has finally come?great cross for the Ashton goal)
Ashton
Mckenzie

i got in like 2 hours ago
anyway ..i arrived late .. missed the 1st 3 mins ...traffic was CHAOS ..and finding a place to park was even worst .... got a £30 parking ticket for it
anyway match talk...
1st Half ..... Inter had most of the play Adriano didnt look amazing like he normally would do in a Serie A game ... he went on the floot had treatment ...and he kepted holding his back ...back strain maybe?
Doherty obviously looking **** as normal .. Green pulling some good saves ... Huckerby playing well...Inter scoring 1-0
2nd Half:
we had most possesion till like the 65th min when it all turned round .. Huckerby played very well again ..running circles round a few inter defenders.. rossi Jarvis came on and whata player he will turn out to be! .. Francis came on and recieved many boo's ..but in the end turned to cheers...
Adriano again didnt show much ....he got subbed of in the end though .. Materazzi/Martins/Wome and a few B Teamers came on .. Martins scored after Darren Ward ran out to him .. 2-0 Inter
thats bascially it ... Thanks to Inter Milan though for coming on the tour
heres some pics i took from me mobile:
Adriano on the floor
The city Stand at Half time
Half time/ Inter Milan subs warming up/showboating (there in the black)
Sometime during the game(Inter players in white)
Again Sometime during the game (Inter in white)
Inter coming onto the pitch for start of the 2nd half
Jarrold Stand at Half time
N & P Stand at half time with inter players warming up

Thanks for the update, Mancini and company are raving about the hospitality they are recieving...and playing preseason games in packed stadiums.
I have not seen the game, but we are a number of weeks behind English clubs in terms of match fitness. It doesn't surprise me that Adriano would be taking a little easy.

it was pretty much seen that Adriano was knackered though .. i never really seen him play week in and week out so i dunno if this is no different ..but he didnt want to run for the ball so just waited for a good ball in. he got a applause though when he came off just because its Adriano!

He's very popular, but he's a nice person more importantly.
