Francis Staying (at the moment)
Portsmouth have denied making a new bid for Norwich City midfielder Damien Francis.
Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie told his club's official website: "Let me say once and for all that we have made no new bid for Damien Francis.
"As with an awful lot of other players we simply asked Norwich what the current state of affairs was regarding Damien which amounted to no more than a polite enquiry.
"Before we contemplate buying any more players we are now looking to shift some the other way but I want to make it clear that contrary to what is being said Portsmouth Football Club have made no bid for Damien Francis."
------------
He's in the team to face Inter Milan tomorrow but then again that doesnt mean nothing
i personally hope he goes ..he obviously hasnt got the loyalty (apprently himself withdrew from the col u friendly ..not Worthy withdrawing him) ... flog him and spend the cash on a player who actually wants to play for the squad
...why cant all footballers be like Iwan Roberts ..... loyalty means everything
