''Norwich City midfielder Mattias Jonson insists he will not seek to leave Carrow Road should the club get relegated.
The Swede, who enjoyed an impressive Euro 2004, has failed to shine in The Premiership since his summer move from Brondby.
Recent reports had linked the 31-year-old with a return to his home country with Hammarby, although Jonson has now declared his intention to stay for the duration of his deal.
"I will fight to the last," said Jonson.
"I have a two-year contract and it's my plan to see that out.
"I love it here, it's a great club with nice people around it."
Nigel Worthington's side are currently equal with Crystal Palace and West Brom on 30 points, two ahead of beleaguered Southampton at the bottom of the table.''
