Default Norwich boss ponders Magpies swoop
Nigel Worthington is set to move for Newcastle striker Michael Chopra in the summer according to reports.
21-year-old Chopra has failed to establish himself at St. James Park after progressing through the youth ranks, making only 10 senior appearances but has had a prolific season on loan at Barnsley, scoring 16 goals for the League One side this season.

anyone will be a nice bonus for next season really

but i'd be happy with the huckerby/Leon/Ashton strikeforce

or maybe Worthy is thinking of sticking huckerby on the left midfield again and use Chopra upfront alongside Leon and Ashton

anyway it would be a good signing ..he does seem to bang in the goals in the football league

it wud b sat to see svensson leave afta such a short spell but to be honest he has down on worthy list and on mine. id rather have ashton n mckenzie ne day. as for chopra i rekon he'd b a good signing if we played a 4-3-3 team.
