to be honest when he goes back to Arsenal i cant see him good enough to be on Arsenals main squad
they say hes Arsenals best youth player but if he was he would been in the main squad and if i recall players like Clichy/Fabragas are in the main squad and there younger than Bentley!

kinda agree but....
Arsenal are really spoilt for choice up front -
Bentley was brinkering on the edge of the first team squad last year and made a few appearances here and there.
They loaned him to us, because in theory he should have got the full season in the first team here sharpening him for next season.
he then goes back to Arsenal next season to replace Bergkamp.

i reckon Bentley looks quite good.
I have another idea for a new player in January -
Helguson from Watford.
That will really annoy the evil one.
went onto the watford board earlier and suggested it, guess what Max wasn't too impressed -
i even offered him Svennson as a straight swap

wouldnt webber be better tho? he seems to be scoring all the goals atm. and while we're talking division 1, dave kitsons amazing at reading, hes really matured and hes from cambridge n said he wanted to be a norwich player as a kid, so maybe he wd be good.

For me Ashton has to be high on the list. he's consistently scored around 20 goals a season for 3 years now and he's still only 20. Might be pushing the budget but he's a top quality investment.
As for the others mentioned, Im not sure bout helgusen, he's always scored goals but not a huge amount. 15 goals in the fizzy is probably going to be 10 or less in the premiership. Kitson is doing well but he hasnt really proved himself consistently in tht fizzy pop league yet.
about possible formations we've what we've got I'd like to see this at some point
bentley and hucks on the wings, with leon and Jonson upfront

kitson looks like a young iwan!
he is injury prone - but could be a good cheap option
someone mentioned robbie blake on here not long ago as well
i'm sure we'll strengthen but i'd like to see a proven premiership striker added to the ranks

Harewoods names does seem to get mentioned often -
but will the hammers really let him go mid promotion push?
its like us last season - we didn't want to let any of our top players go at that stage - they'll only be looking to strengthen
guess that will be the same with Kitson at Reading
i do agree though that Harewood could be a v.g. signing though - fingers crossed you never know

Harewood would be a dream, but hes out of our price range methinx. My money wd go on kitson, but then i see him quite a lot and know how well hes playing atm.

Im not sure about Harewood. he;s sometimes been inconsistent in division1 and isnt really setting the world alight this season. i wonder how good he would be in the premiership.
However we could probably get him for about £900K or less, given that him and pardew dont always see eye to eye.
i still dont see why people dont want ashton, surely he's everything we're looking for if we spend a bit
