Norwich wait on Bentley
Norwich boss Nigel Worthington is hoping on-loan striker David Bentley will be fit to make the trip to Manchester United on Saturday.
He joined the club from Arsenal but hurt his leg against Crystal Palace and has withdrawn from the England Under-21 side to play Ukraine on Tuesday.
"David picked up a slight calf strain on Saturday," Worthington told the club's website.
"All we can do is monitor the situation and hope he is fit for Saturday."

I dunno what to make of it really, its gonna do more harm forcing him back early, cus if he does play saturday, he might aggrivate his injury further

well norwich players have a mysterious knack of developing strange injuries that put them out of midweek internationals before making miraculous recoveries in time for the next norwich match.
nothing of worthy's doing i'm sure : :

Too right, if he plays and if he gets hurt, then you are looking at him being out for a few months

'The City boss was pleased to report that David Bentley, who missed an England Under-21 date on Tuesday with a minor calf strain, was now back in training and should be fit for the daunting fixture with Manchester United.'
i expect he was withdrawn from the england squad merely as a precaution, not because he was seriously injured
