Car parking arrangements will be different at Carrow Road this season as a new development gets under way next to the Norwich City ground.

Land behind the Norwich and Peterborough Stand – which was used as the main car park – has been closed as Taylor Woodrow starts work on a homes scheme.

The house builder had agreed a £6m deal with the club for land.

No parking spaces for ticket holders have been lost as extra areas have been created, including one on land behind the Jarrold Stand.

Meanwhile, the £3m infill between the Norwich and Peterborough Stand and Jarrold Stand will be completed in two phases – one by January and one by April.

The area will create an extra 1500 seats, taking total capacity to 26,000.

A further development that could be built is a hotel between the Jarrold and Barclay stands, but no deal has yet been completed.

I thought your stadium held more than 26,000....but you got a nice stadium, and i feel that WHEN YOU STAY UP the ground will be developed even more

it can be..the Jarrold Stand can have another tier on it to knock it up to @ least 32,000

then apparently planning to adding another tier to the Watling stand is in place
