CANARY fans have snapped up Norwich City's entire allocation of tickets for the Premiership away matches at Manchester United and Newcastle United.
The club warned today that those who have not already applied for tickets, would be wasting their time calling the Carrow Road box office or queuing in person because none are now available for general sale.
The Canaries were allocated 3,000 tickets for the Old Trafford clash on Saturday, August 21 and 2,000 for the match at St James's Park four days later.
The club's 1,000 away season ticket holders were automatically guaranteed seats for both the televised games with the remaining tickets to be distributed among those who have applied.
Applications are still being processed, but the club confirmed that there will be no tickets up for grabs in a general sale.
Richard Gough, customer services manager at Carrow Road, said: "We have been extremely busy.
"We've had hundreds of people dropping in their applications and are delighted to ensure as many fans as possible can go.
"But this does mean there will be no tickets for general sale on Monday morning, so people should not call the ticket office or queue because they are none left."
Supporters who have applied for tickets for these games will be notified shortly as to whether they have got seats at the big matches.
