West Ham Scott Parker bid accepted
Well , tbh this is a sign, that West ham proberly do wanna mount a threat and Reo is properly leaving,
Wouldn't be supraised if this is changed into a swap, though Reo wants a Arsenal move.

Reo-Coker said he's only leaving if it's to Arsenal or Man Utd so I doubt it'll be a swap, but Parker is as direct a replacement to Reo-Coker as you can get so yeah it does suggest he's on his way out.

is this official?
I think Parker will go to West Ham if he gets the chance, he is one of Curbs' scholars and a London lad. He's a big player for Newcastle though so they might put up a bit of a fight to keep hold of him (or just get Kevin Nolan or Joey Barton to replace him).

I think it's all rumours at this stage, but there are murmurs that Allardyce is willing to sell Parker, apparently he had an indifferent season last year and hasn't settled in Newcastle.
Which will then lead to Newcastle signing Kevin Nolan to replace Parker.
Which will then lead to Bolton signing Michael Brown (yes u read it correct, the same Michael Brown that nearly broke Davis' leg, Giggs' leg, Xabi Alonso's face...) to replace Nolan.

I bet West Ham's offer will meet the asking price.

Reluctant to let Parker go, would be better used as a DM. But for that kind of money I think we will use it better.
He seems to want out as soon as possible, I dont remember the last time he came out and said anything about the team. He had a terrible season and making him captain was his downfall. He simply couldn't take it, Roeder using him the wrong way didn't help either. He will do alot better at West Ham.

West Ham close to £7m Parker deal
West Ham are believed to be close to sealing a £7m deal for Newcastle captain Scott Parker after fighting off late interest from Tottenham.
Hammers chief executive Scott Duxbury held late-night talks with Parker's representatives following Spurs' move.
Parker is reportedly set to meet West Ham officials on Thursday after a fee was agreed with the Magpies.
The England midfielder, 26, played under Hammers boss Alan Curbishley when they were both at Charlton.
West Ham are in the market for a central midfielder, with skipper Nigel Reo-Coker set to move this summer.
Parker spent seven years with Curbishley at The Valley and made his England debut against Denmark in 2003 before completing a £10m move to Chelsea.
But with first-team opportunities limited at Stamford Bridge, he moved to St James' Park in a £6.5m deal in 2005 and was made skipper last summer.
However, reports suggested Parker struggled to settle in the north-east and was targeting a move south.
New Newcastle manager Allardyce is believed to be eyeing out-of-favour Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton as a potential replacement.

he's going...
He'd do a good job at West Ham but I'm surprised Spurs didn't put up a bigger fight for him.

A shame that Parker was so disapointing last season. His first season at St. James' Park was awesome. His performance against Arsenal when we won 1-0, is one of the best performances I've ever seen from a Newcastle player.

Parker -> West Ham
Reo-Coker -> Arsenal
Flamini -> Man City
Barton -> Everton
Carsley -> Fulham
Brown -> Bolton
Nolan -> Newcastle
Then everyone is happy.

I am not that keen to send away Parker, even he has been a step down this season.
Toon have capital to keep him - even at the bench.
That's the big problems with N'castle. They've too few quality players on the bench. You need many good players there too, if you shall finish top six in the CL.

Nobody want's to be on the bench at Newcastle, it seems. When one of our "star" players gets put on the bench, they're moaning to the media or walks out on the club.
