Newcastle always do this. I'm not surprised. We could have had a 7-0 lead after the first leg and we’d lose 8-7 aggregate. Typical Newcastle away performance for the last 3 or 4 years.Toothless upfront and poor defending, making mistake after mistake, giving the ball away cheaply.This is exactly what I expected after the 4-2 result last week. Absolutely gutted. It was always on the cards.
Roeder has to go. His dismal tactics handed the initiative to the Dutch from the kick-off. Did he really think Bramble and co could keep the Dutch out for 90 minutes? And why wasn’t Milner playing? This lad has just got better as the season has progressed and he would of provided the speed and service that we sorely lacked.
