did anyone watch it? what a player big al has been and an inspiration to us geordies!

good luck to al in his future! maybe he'll be managin the club soon


on a different note, do u reckon boumsong will improve and be a good defender? i have a feeling he might!

Celtic have been busy. At OT for Roy Keane's testimonial Tuesday then up in Newcastle for Shearer's.

Why didn't Shearer have his testimonial against Southampton or Blackburn?

watched some of that, luque scored a belter and pattison impressed me. great to see Lee and Ferdinand make appearances, worth it just for Ferdinand's dying swan in the last minute!

brilliant turnout for a true legend, and fitting that his last goal came at the Gallowgate end and was the winner.
