Luque treatment is buzzling. Perhaps Roeder is trying stimulate his motivation by freezing him totally for a moment.

I'm very sceptical when it comes to Roeder.

Yes, he did a great job with the Magpies, but the up-periode was just a matter of time and maybe anybody else that Souness had get this results, or not?

Well, he is manager now and we must give him a chance. Maybe he is the right man or maybe not. Time will tell.

He did though have a easy run in compared to souness. I dont think he did anything different from what Souness did. All teams have that golden spell when a new manager comes in too.

Roeder is a rubbish manager, awful appointment by Toon.

Luque is class though, not suited to Newcastle IMO. he'd fit better at Manure or Chelski, where wingers are utilised.

Roder have done a good job in turning the team spirit around, we're playing some decent football, and we've been getting some good results... But on the other hand, his previous managerial record is hardly exceptional - both in terms of results, and his ability to purchase players to improve the squad - and I can't help but feel that the late surge this season has been nothing more than an extended honeymoon period.

I think Roeder's been appointed for a year or two until Shearer is ready to take over.

Shearer being used as an ambassador to buy players ?

His players.
