I really can't see Roeder going for Gravesen when he said he wants players with the right attitude.

Several newspapers writes that Owen is trying to get Graver to tyneside. They played together in Madrid.

Gravesen has actually a very good winning attitude. He gives 100 % and that's the supporters ( espesially in England ) wants to see. I am not a big supporter of the Danish ironman, but I like his attitude to win matches and give 100 % for the club.

He is angry at the Madrid trainings because he wants to improve and win. But players like Ronaldinho, Robinho, etc are too quick for him and La Liga is not Graversens best league to play in.

He was one of the best midfielders in England when he played for Toffees and Premier League is perfect for him. Unfortunately, no secret that he is a bit insane

If we can get him for a good money, buy him! He is a top midfielder and has experience with Hamburger SV, Everton and Real Madrid. The best Danish player and we can get a good price for him later. He is not that injurebird either and we know that he can play very good in PL.

Roeder has confirmed his interest, so if we could offload Faye or Butt, I belive Roeder will make his move. And if we were to get him I hope we don't make the same error as Real did- Gravesen is not, and never was, a defensive midfielder.

Charlton Athletic have agreed terms with Newcastle for midfielder Amady Faye.
Addicks boss Iain Dowie has struck terms over a £2.5 million fee for the Senegal international, says the Mirror.

Faye's move to The Valley will be finalised next week.

The Toon have already confirmed their interest in Real midfielder Thomas Gravesen, and Faye's departure could see them move for the Danish ace.

French team Marseille have confirmed they are talking to Newcastle and Boumsong about a loan move.

Marseille were looking at a possible move for Sol Campbell, but with that looking unlikely, they have elected to make a move for Boumsong.

The former Rangers defender signed for Newcastle in January 2005 under Graeme Souness for £8 million and looked promising for a few months but slowly faded into another expensive failure.

Boumsong will hope to resurrect his career with a year back in his home country.

However, although Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo has confirmed talks are in the process, he stated that Boumsong’s terms are high and so it will be a loan deal.

Anigo said:

"The player wants to come here and we want him too.
His terms are quite high but we have just opened talks with the club and his agents.
There could be an opportunity to hire him on loan.
He is our most serious option for a new defender. We have been keeping tabs on Sol Campbell but that appears to have ended."

not a very good defender though, great going forward. cole was left out of the arsenal picture tonight so specilation of him moving still on.
