Luis Enrique to the North East ?
According to rumours in the press, City are interested in Barcelona captain Luis Enrique.
The Spanish international, who can play as a striker or an attacking midfielder, is getting on a bit and Barca are apparently ready to let him leave when his contract expires next summer.
The Former Real Madrid man is said to be prepared to accpet a salary of £35,000 a week but Newcastle are also following the situation.
Meanwhile, Portsmouth are still being linked with a move for City's forgotten man, Eyal Berkovic.
- I dont know, is Luis the player we need?

LUIS Enrique's agent has played down talk that the Spanish international is set to make a switch from the Nou Camp to the Blue Camp.
Enrique will leave Barcelona in the summer as the Catalan giants are unwilling to offer a bumper new contract to a 34-year-old.
Age, though, is likely to be less of a concern to Blues boss Kevin Keegan, who is building a squad made up of experienced internationals and exciting youngsters.
The City boss is thought to have earmarked Enrique as a perfect summer signing, but the player's agent, Alberto Toldra, claims that as yet no offer has been received.
"At the moment, we do not have any offer from Manchester City for Luis Enrique," he told skysports.com.
If City do bid for Enrique, they will be sure to face competition from a number of Premiership clubs, including Newcastle whose boss Sir Bobby Robson is a big fan of the midfielder from his own time in Spain.

Yeah, he is to old for The Magpies, and too much money to paid him.
I hope that Newcastle dispose of Viana, and then invest in a young talented player, or two.

Enrique at the moment, would be a good signing for City as we lack that special something in the midfield now Eyal is in KK's bad books.
