We do need another striker as well as luque, which is pleasing that souness has also stated this, but our **** of a chairman might have other ideas. Considering we have only so far spent money from sales of players and none of the supposed 25 million we were meant to have started with, i cant see ff spending anymore of the 10 million that we will spend on luque, especially since he has been trying to spend as little as possible so far on any transfers (which depor are now getting ****ed off about). As much as i hate souness and think he's a terrible terrible manager, the chairman is such a **** because he simply hasnt finallised a deal for a player that he and the manager have had since january to sign.

lets pretend that craig moore is a good defender.....newcastle only need to buy a new striker.

you have about 10 mill left post luque.

kujt is probably too expensive but you could at least bid.....ashton might be worth a gamble at around 8 mill.....even someone like rob earnshaw could be worth a punt.

just get one guy in that knows where the back of the net is....even i would conced that thats an easy task.

Oh my god.The deal is off. We've failed to sign a WORLD CLASS player because we were only a million pounds or so short of his club's valuation of him.

It ****es me off sooooo much. I know ive posted my dislike for souness before, but its our wa'nker of a chairmans fault for not coughing up the cash (which btw is the shareholders not just his own as he tries to make out), where he has known we are desparately short for a striker. Its just annoying how we seemed to have missed out on various targets for the sake of a couple million pounds. Whatsmore is that we havent spent any extra money on targets, just spent the money we have brought in from the sales of players. The chairman is full of more **** than doug ellis, and i literaly hate the **** as a newcastle fan, i just wished that takeover could've materialised so the fat ba'stard would fcuk off.

The problem is, according to newcastle.no, that Luque and Newcastle have agreed a contract without approval from Deportivo La Coruna. Luque is agree with N'castle, and he wanted to play for us... but the ****ing managment in the club is ****e. Looks like Magpies don't have money either.

PS: Valencia has signed Viana 1-year on loan.

Deportivo has contacted Real Madrid over Roberto Soldado. He is a great striker talent, and has already scored goals for Real Madrid this season. He is strong and Depor wants him to replace Luque. I hope this is a good sign, or maybe N'castle can loan him for one season!?
