Default January Transfer Window

After the shaky start, we seem to be on the way up. However, I still think the squad needs strengthening in the Transfer window. Although the defence seems to be holding up well without woodgate, I still think we need another centre back to partner woodgate as i feel bramble and O' brien are not at a european competition level (they may be in the next few seasons however). Also, I do feel Shola Ameobi is a more than capable replacement for Bellamy, however neither of them are equal to big Al, even if we do get Kluivert I still feel another quality striker is needed for us to do well in Europe, especially as shearer is getting no younger. What are everyone elses views?

i think we shud try to get an experienced centre back to partner woody, someone like jaap stam or frank de boer, as they are getting on they wudnt cost to much but their experience wud be invaluable.

also agree we need a good quality forward, god help us if shearer gets injured.

if we had any money left after that we cud maybe think about a right back
