Default Nicky Butt

He has played very well for us, but after reading another site, a point was brought up which i agreed with: That nicky butt plays at too much of a slow pace and although he puts the tackles in he lacks the all round game and attacking ability that have made us a great side going forward. Best english midfielder for example is steven gerrard and he has great flexibility in midfield. So do people think that for home games at least, we should play bowyer and jenas in the centre or stick with butt (also his passing has been very poor in the last few games he's played).

I'd def go Jenas and Bowyer. Nicky Arse is too limited to play in a top team like Newcastle.

Nicky Butt is Newcastle Uniteds best player so far this season pursuant to Scandinavian Magpies.

Best player this season? I would have to say Jenas or Bowyer or even Bernard

I'd also say jenas and bowyer, been the only consistently performing players in the team and bring a lot more to our game than nicky butt.

Nicky Butt's role at the moment is the anchor man but I don't think as you said his long balls have been up to his standard compared to when he first joined.

Jenas and Bellamy has been the best so far.
