Default In January Window

Most consistent rumours are :

Two centre backs - Huth, Dawson
Left Winger - Andy Reid (most likely)
Right Winger - Possibly routledge

Dyer and robert possibly being sold.

Any views?

come on...can't we just sign an experience and established centre back ?? why always go for those "future player" ?

Besides Huth i never see any of them in action before..Are they really good ?

Dawson and reid are two of the best players in the first division, routledge has looked good so far in the prem. I agree tho, we need at least an experienced centre back to hold the defence in shape, we had the same problem even when woodgate played

Much rather Reid than Duff to be honest, cheaper, works harder, less injuries. But we need an experienced CB. Maybe Henchoz if we're short of options. After all he was in the defense that basically won Liverpool the treble.

Andy Reid is cheaper, but he doesn't work harder or have less injuries than Duff.

Henchoz would be a good signing if you got some1 with pace to partner. He made Hyypia look world class for years whilst single handedly holding our central defense together.

Robert is better than Reid, it'd be strange to make that move.

So is Reid, and he's slower and not as talented. Robert is a better crosser and is better from dead balls.

Robert is no longer that lazy he does put a lot more effort in. However he is not as talented as people make out, he lacks flair and creativity, also his dribbling can be suspect and often he is greedy and tends to lose the ball very easily. His dead ball ability and his crossing ability is obviously superb on form, but if souness doesnt play him, we may as well get another player. Reid is a lot more comfortable on the ball and creates more but this is only in the championship.

Fabricio Coloccini, Christian Chivu, Ambrosini, Costa, Kompany are great players for our club, Newcastle United.

IMO we should buy Morientes in january. Morientes - Bellamy - Kluivert for next season had been great. I'm sure that El Moro had played very well in PL.

How many of them are likely to want to move to us though?
