I think he has been one of our most improved players and has a good future at the club, why dont the board just offer him a new contract before he leaves. Souness hasnt helped by saying he's naive to try and find a better club for him to go to than us.

I don't think he will leave, Newcastle would be stupid to let him go with the current defensive issue. Bernard attacks to much to let him leave as well.
