I know this has been on another thread, but after the games so far, what do you think our best starting line up should be, on paper or by performance.

I'm glad u brought this up. I would say:

01. Given

02. Carr
05. O'Brien
18. Hughes
35. Bernard

16. Milner
04. Butt
29. Bowyer
32. Robert

10. Bellamy
11. Kluivert

I think Bramble would slip in but he has been injured, possibly Ambrose but he has been injured, it was tough to leave JJ out, Shearer was tough to leave out, but I think a Bellamy & Kluivert partnership would just work or even at Southampton try Kluivert & Shearer just to test.

I agree with you Kluivert89,it is tough to leave out Jenas and Shearer.

even Ambrose could but because of injury I left him out, Nobby wants to come back now apparantly , because SBR left
