Nationallity Hate?
Does Newcastle hate all Nationallities apart from British and French? All the squad is British apart from the French players, Bernard, Robert and N'Zogbia! And of course the only other player that isn't British is Kluivert! I'm not complaining though, I am proud not to have a team full of foreigners and have real British team Spirit unlike Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal which are packed full of foreigners, Man Utd aren't that bad on foreigners.

England seems like don't have much talented natural left winger, so this make Newcastle have to seeks foreigner for that position. : : Anyway, that's just my opinion. But i think majority are British is something to be proud of for all the Geordies.
In my country football league, we have a limit of 3 foreign players in a team only. This rule have it's bad and good side, as more foreigner might make the game more interesting while with the limitation, the teams have to make use and groom local talent.

Not trying to make this a slagging off match, but it seems that italians are the ones people dont like with the reputation for diving and being volatile like totti, not to mention the niggling tackling from defenders which you wouldnt get away with in the premiership. This is just an opinion and nothing else, I am glad at our lack of foreigners in comparison to other clubs as arsenal only have two english players in the team which is ridiculous.

do most other leagues have a limit on foreign players?
i think Newcastle have set out to have as much english talent as possible in their squad. ad the only time they seek foreign players is when they have no options left - the left side being the problem in english players.

That's why they have not won something since 1969. They are in the dark ages up there. It's all that Newcky Brown, it affects there thinking ::talksocc
I couldn't care if we had a player from Mars or Jupiter as long as he gives 100% for Manchester United . They are a bit Xenophobic up there
Mind you Shola Ameobi was born in Newcastle and they treat him as one of there own and he has a geordie accent.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelski are all far better than ye as well, and there doesn't seem to be much team-spirit in your squad of late.
United's first team only has 4 British players in it.
I'd rather have a great team of foreigners, than an average team of brits.

I always found it strange at the lack of South Americans in the premiership. I guess the cold is unbearable.
