Well this looks like another terrible move by Bruce Arena and RBNY/Metrostars.

They have to dump Arena, he doesn't get it, that while a player might not hold much value to you but he does elsewhere and you aren't getting equal quality.

Terrible move once again for the RBNY IMO.

I agree but it's bad move once again for the RBNY, the need to get more than a package of draft picks. I'm just tired of all the terrible trades that the RBNY/Metros have made. They almost always give away talent away talent and end up with junk.

Wow talk about unexpected. And for draft picks? This guy was the RB of the future and a future USMNTer. What a waste for us. But hey, if he wasn't going to play then I guess it was in his best interest to end up somewhere else. He's going to get alot of work in Toronto with the way their season is looking.

I agree that it might be in his best interest to end up somewhere else but it's still not a good deal for RBNY. He was wanted in many other places and getting a 2nd round pick and a partial allocation isn't enough.

RBNY/Metro's have got rid of too much young talent in recent years and it will or already has bit them in the ass way too much. Getting rid of the Tim Ward's and Ricardo Clark's etc make me sick.

I wish they would've dealt him elsewhere and bring some of those Jersey boys home if they had to deal him. It just look to much like a reactionary deal to free up space for JPA.
