AEG LAUNCHES LIVE VIDEO FEED OF CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS ON RED BULL PARK WEBSITE
HARRISON, New Jersey (March 12, 2007) – AEG, one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world – and developers of the new Red Bull Park outdoor sports and entertainment venue in Harrison, NJ – today announced that
Red Bull Park : Home will stream live video feed detailing the progress of the construction of Red Bull Park. The web cam, which will utilize high definition, high-speed robotic technology by EarthCam, went live today.
“People in the Metropolitan Area and all over the country who have been eagerly awaiting news about Red Bull Park will now be able to watch live video feed detailing the construction and development of this world-class arena,” said AEG New York/New Jersey President Nick Sakiewicz. “AEG is excited to connect with sports and entertainment fans on a 24/7 basis.”
Red Bull Park will serve as the home to The New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer. The venue also will host concerts, international soccer matches, and other special events.
Red Bull Park is the cornerstone to the $1 billion Harrison MetroCentre Development, the largest such renewal initiative currently underway in New Jersey, with 3,500 housing units, 3 million square feet of office space and 300,000 square feet of retail space. The web cam will be positioned on top of the NJ Transit building across the Passaic River to allow fans the opportunity to watch the progress of the entire MetroCentre Development. Images will be updated every 10 seconds during daylight hours.
