Default Red Bull Park Webcam Launched

Just got an E-mail from a gentleman named Alex Flax informing me of this. Anyway, he'res the link to the webcam. Red Bull Park Webcam

----------------------------------------------------

Jason - I thought the following news might interest you.

AEG, a leading sports and entertainment presenter, today announced a new high-definition live web-cam overlooking the site of Red Bull Park, in Harrison, NJ - future home to Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls and major recording artists. By pointing their browsers to Red Bull Park : Home, soccer fans can now track the project in real-time, and watch as the 25,000 seat, state-of-the-art stadium comes up from the ground.

A growing trend at construction sites throughout the country, the web-cam is positioned atop the NJ Transit building, offering a unique vantage point overlooking the MetroCentre Development in Harrison, of which Red Bull Park is the cornerstone.

I have included the press release detailing the announcement below. Please let me know if you have any questions or would be interested in speaking with an AEG spokesperson.

Kind regards,
Alex

AEG LAUNCHES LIVE VIDEO FEED OF CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS ON RED BULL PARK WEBSITE

HARRISON, New Jersey (March 12, 2007) – AEG, one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world – and developers of the new Red Bull Park outdoor sports and entertainment venue in Harrison, NJ – today announced that Red Bull Park : Home will stream live video feed detailing the progress of the construction of Red Bull Park. The web cam, which will utilize high definition, high-speed robotic technology by EarthCam, went live today.

“People in the Metropolitan Area and all over the country who have been eagerly awaiting news about Red Bull Park will now be able to watch live video feed detailing the construction and development of this world-class arena,” said AEG New York/New Jersey President Nick Sakiewicz. “AEG is excited to connect with sports and entertainment fans on a 24/7 basis.”

Red Bull Park will serve as the home to The New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer. The venue also will host concerts, international soccer matches, and other special events.

Red Bull Park is the cornerstone to the $1 billion Harrison MetroCentre Development, the largest such renewal initiative currently underway in New Jersey, with 3,500 housing units, 3 million square feet of office space and 300,000 square feet of retail space. The web cam will be positioned on top of the NJ Transit building across the Passaic River to allow fans the opportunity to watch the progress of the entire MetroCentre Development. Images will be updated every 10 seconds during daylight hours.

Viewers can access the website from any computer by visiting Red Bull Park : Home. To be connected to the live web cam, simply click on “Webcam” on the home page. Photos and further details about the Red Bull Park development are easily accessible through the main site.

Just looked at the Webcam. The ground at the construction site is very soggy and still partially snow covered thanks to that storm that came through.
