I'm not the best coach, but the one thing I look for in the small kids are there attitude. It's important to be a team player and help your teammates especially when it comes to confidence..Freddy Adu is all about Freddy Adu, but you can tell that Altidore is much more mature and is a team player..The European managers are looking for someone who will put team before personnel ambition..That is the reason both Donovan and Mathis where unable to make it in Europe...They are just part of the machine and not the stars...

Altidore is no small player though. He's got a big body and uses it to his advantage. 6'2"180lbs is about where he's at.
