I always tell my friends, Soccer is the Real Football
American Football are for sissy's, they play with all of the equipment, they get minutes of time outs during the game, players run 100 yards and they have to take oxygen, that's a ladies sport
in the superbowl a player got touch scoring a touchdown and they took the points away, on the other side the ball never cross the line and they gave Pittsburg a touchdown.

I agree that soccer is the real football but saying american football is for sissy's is wrong and not true IMO and it makes you sound no better than the people that hate on soccer. American football is brutal and if they didn't have equipment that they wear, people would be dying. Many soccer fans won't admit it or believe it but those American football players are most likely the best athletes in the world and it would be great if US soccer could start stealing some of these guys.

My dad told me a story that once Benfica was visiting New York and Benfica was practicing on the same field as the Jets and Eusebio was kicking 70 yard field goals..The Jets where trying to sign him to a contract. I don't know how true that story is , but it was kinda funny when I heard it. The truth is that the most condition atheletes are soccer players. When is the last time you hear another athelete dying on the field in any other sport..It's a very difficult sport when alot of injuries..Unlike other sports in which reaction is the key in soccer thinking is the most important attribute.

4. DATEBOOK: Barca is coming!
Barcelona will play three games this August as part of the club’s U.S.
The UEFA Champions League semifinalist and runaway leader in Spain’s La Liga will play in Los Angeles Aug. 6 and Houston Aug. 9 against Mexican clubs and in the New York area Aug. 12 against the New York Red Bulls. Locations have not yet been confirmed.
Barcelona features some of the world’s greatest players, including World and European Player of the Year Ronaldinho (Brazil), 18-year-old sensation Lionel Messi (Argentina), and African Player of the Year Samuel Eto’o (Cameroon). Also in the club’s ranks are a host of players who will represent their countries in the 2006 World Cup: Rafael Marquez (Mexico), Carles Puyol (Spain), Deco (Portugal) and Mark Van Bommel (Netherlands). Barcelona is reported to be interested in signing French star Thierry Henry of Arsenal for next season.
Barcelona previously played in the New York area in 1937 and 1984 and played three games on the East Coast during the 2003 ChampionsWorld Series.

There not on steroids, they test like crazy in the NFL. Why do you say that just because there big, you can get that big without them, it's just easier if you do. The reason I say this is because I caught alot of flack for not playing a football and playing soccer because by the time I was done growing I had a body of an American football player. I'm about 6ft tall and weigh 250 should be at 230 but with my injuries and surgeries on my left knee over the past 5 years have caused me not to be able to go out a run that much to keep me in shape (six pack) but I'm still jacked just with a spare tire, LOL the point is that I've been accused of it and I hate people say that, it's easy to get big and muscular it just takes time and effort.

I can believe it, I can hit the far but the key is can you do it consistantly and in a game situation.
The funny thing is I just got offered a job as a kicker for a semi-pro team as I was writting this.

Dude I'm just joking about football. I use to play football in high school, but I had to give it up because I was to small around 5'9 150LBS. I played wide receiver and was pretty good, but I couldn't take all those hard hits.
