Best Midfield in MLS?
After seeing Noonan, Ralston and Dempsey play very well against Honduras in the midfield, I'm convinced the Revs is the best in MLS. Can anyone name one better than Ralston-Joseph-Cancela-Dempsey-Cassio/Noonan ?

Re: Best Midfield in MLS?
Come on, fess up. Who voted for the Metros? They have Guevara, Gaven, Lisi and that's it. Don't say Djorkaeoff. I would take Ralston over Lisi, Dempsey over Gaven, Guevara just barely over Cancela, but the rest of the Revs midfield easily over the rest of the Metros.

Remember here. I'm not saying best team, just best midfield. Defense may be the Revs downfall again this year.

Although untested, I think on paper LA Galaxy has the best new midfield.
I do agree that NE is very good in the mids. strong #2

Who voted for DC then? From what I heard from people who've seen Guppy play, he sucks and had retired for a reason. Then you have Adu, Olsen, Gomez and Kovalenko. Solid, but I'm not seeing anything great in there.

What do you think LA's starting midfield will be?
I'm also a little suprised no one has argued for KC.

Most common formations seem to be 3-5-2 and 4-4-2 (sometimes it ends up looking like a (4-2-3-1). And then there is Sampson's dreaded 3-6-1. ::wow::
