Doesnt anyone else here agree with me on the fact that Pat Noonan should get a start. He and twellman grew up together and when noonan comes in he sets up alot of good passes over to twellman, they seem like they play really well together. Noonan used to get the starts 2 seasons ago, but he was injured last season, and now this season hes only seen like 60 mins of play time or something like that, I think its pretty ridiculous how about you?

Dorman scores twice to lead Revolution to win
Andy Dorman was determined to lead the New England Revolution to a victory.
Dorman scored two goals as the Revolution defeated Toronto FC, 3-0, on Saturday night,
New England (6-2-4) won for the first time in three games after enduring consecutive ties against Real Salt Lake and Columbus.
Dorman got New England on the board early by scoring his fourth goal of the season in the 13th minute on rebound.
Teammate Avery John won a free kick and his shot sailed into the right side of the box and bounced off a Toronto defender. Dorman gathered it and beat goalkeeper Srdjan Djekanovic to the right side for a 1-0 lead.
"Obviously it is always nice to score but it feels better to get the win," Dorman said. "It just feels even better to win. The last couple of games we've kind of slipped up and not taken three points at home so it is just good to get back to the winning ways."
Pat Noonan made it a two-goal advantage when he headed a pass from Jeff Larentowicz on the wing just over the outstretched arm of Djekanovic and into the left corner in the 33rd minute.
"Right place, right time, balls bouncing a little better, they come in spurts, hopefully we can continue scoring some goals" Noonan said. "It was a much-needed victory, a credit to our defense, because they shut them down and we needed that.
"We got our goals when we had our chances but that was a big win for us."
Dorman then added another goal in the 81st minute when he took a pass from rookie Adam Cristman and used a slide kick to beat Djekanovic straight on for a 3-0 lead.
Khano Smith dribbled down the field, moved to the middle and then passed to Cristman, who one-timed a pass back to the left for Dorman. He beat Djekanovic to the left side.
"It is good to get one," New England coach Steve Nicol said. "(It's) good to get one at home. It wasn't easy but we are talking about closing games out and it is important that, particularly in the second half, we didn't go gung-ho and charge forward and leave holes and then we loose a goal."
Toronto (4-7-1), which is winless in five road games, was outshot, 13-8.
Matt Reis saved six shots to notch is fifth shutout of the season for New England.
"He has done a great job, I think the goals that they have scored have been defensive lapses instead of his part but he has been solid," said Wells Thompson of Reis' performance this year.
Meanwhile, Djekanovic made four stops for Toronto, which lost, 4-0, to New England in the second game of the season.

Revs earn three points in Bulls' ring
Quote:
Andy Dorman's first-half strike stood up to give Matt Reis his sixth shutout of the year as the New England Revolution defeated the New York Red Bulls 1-0 at Giants Stadium on Saturday night.
Seven minutes before the half, Revolution midfielder Shalrie Joseph created the game's lone goal with a brilliant diagonal pass to free Dorman down the right side. Dorman collected, took one touch and clinically blasted the ball past Conway into the far side to give his side a lead it would never relinquish.
It was the seventh goal of the year for Dorman, who is the top-scoring midfielder in MLS. With the second assist on the play, veteran New England midfielder Steve Ralston became the all-time assist leader in MLS with 115, one more than former Tampa Bay Mutiny teammate Carlos Valderrama.
The Revs came out like gangbusters from the opening whistle. Red Bulls 'keeper Jon Conway had to come up big just four minutes into the tilt when he stoned the red-hot Dorman, who had been sent through for a one-on-one with New York's backup backstop.
Dorman had another excellent chance to put the visitors ahead seven minutes later when the ball fell to him during a scramble in the Red Bulls' box. The Englishman pounced on it and this time he beat Conway. However, Bulls defender Seth Stammler was there to clear off the line.
New York nearly went ahead against the run of play at the quarter-hour mark. Hunter Freeman's deflected cross fell to Clint Mathis, who volleyed off the post. The rebound caromed off Mathis, but Reis was well-positioned to make the stop.
The home side had another good opportunity to open the scoring in the 28th minute. With two defenders draped on him, Juan Pablo Angel used some nifty footwork to get free, cut the ball back, and fire a shot from the edge of the area that skimmed off Reis's crossbar.
On the stroke of halftime and with the Revs now ahead, Angel had another golden opportunity. Dane Richards served in a cross from the right side, but Angel headed over the top from point-blank range.
After the break the visitors seemed content to sit back a bit with the one-goal lead. Neither team created much offense during the early part of the second half, and as is often the case when these two rivals play, the game evolved into a tight, physical affair. Referee Ramon Hernandez ended up calling 16 fouls and handing out five cautions after the break.
As the clock crept past the 70th minute, the Red Bulls began to show some urgency and press forward in search of the equalizer.
Still, it was the Revs that got the clearest looks at goal. First, Joseph put Taylor Twellman behind Kevin Goldthwaite on the right side and the U.S. international ripped a powerful blast that Conway parried away. A few minutes later, n the 87th, Conway again kept his team in contention by tipping second-half substitute Adam Cristman's 18-yard screamer over the bar.
The game ended on an ugly note. Angel was shown a straight red card by Hernandez after a vicious elbow to the head of Joseph, whom he had battled all night, as the two went up for a 50-50 header.
With the win, the Revs leapfrog New York into first place in the East. Reis's latest clean sheet ties him with Houston's Pat Onstad for tops in the league. And with the defeat, the Red Bulls fell from first to fourth place after D.C. United escaped with a draw against FC Dallas and Kansas City beat Real Salt Lake.

Here Come the Brides
Three Revolution players prepare to watch their fiancées walk down the aisle within the next year
When Adam Cristman proposed to his girlfriend, both of the couple's families were waiting to join them for a celebratory dinner. It may have seemed like a risky move to have them all at the restaurant while he proposed at a nearby park, but Cristman was pretty confident she would say yes.
"She was involved in the ring shopping process," Cristman said. "My explanation was, ‘If you were going to go out and look to buy me a $4,000 guitar, would you just buy it? Or would you say, ‘I think you should be involved in picking it out?''"
But proposing was the easy part. Now Cristman, along with two other Revolution players – Michael Parkhurst and Brad Knighton – have to go through the grueling process of preparing for their upcoming weddings. And the soccer stars are very involved in planning for the big events.
Cristman's wedding is set for Sept. 1 – the first of the three players' weddings – and he and his fiancée are putting the final touches on their preparations. Already Cristman has picked out a photographer and helped design the invitations. He even selected the location for the ceremony.
"We wanted some place where we could go inside and outside," he said. "Having a facility with a nice-looking room inside and some nice gardens outside would allow us to have both the ceremony and the reception there."
While Cristman had a friend to design the invitations, fellow teammate Michael Parkhurst went out with his bride-to-be on a recent off day to choose the design of the couple's invitations.
Parkhurst said the planning stages are filled with time-consuming events that make the process draining and long. He never thought picking out wedding invitations could be such an intricate process.
"It's just little things like picking out invitations that you don't really think are a big deal until you go to an invitation store and there's like 15 trillion of them," he said. "There're different colors, and folded ones, a large one with information on it or do you want separate little cards for information, different pictures on the invitation itself, a lot of things."

Toronto to Host 2008 Sierra Mist All-Star Game
Today Major League Soccer awarded Toronto the right to host the 2008 Sierra Mist All-Star Game next July.
Today Major League Soccer awarded Toronto the right to host the 2008 Sierra Mist All-Star Game next July. The game will be played at BMO Field, the home of Toronto FC, which is receiving tremendous fan support in its inaugural season in MLS. The date of the game, and a world-class international opponent, will be announced in the future. MLS Commissioner Don Garber made the announcement alongside Tom Anselmi, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, owner of Toronto FC. The news comes on the eve of this year’s All-Star game at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, home of Colorado Rapids.
"Toronto’s response to the arrival of MLS has been nothing short of extraordinary and that is a credit to the excellent leadership of MLSE," Garber said. "Clearly, BMO Field will provide a vibrant and enthusiastic setting for the 2008 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game. We are excited to partner with MLSE and the passionate soccer fans in Toronto to hosting this memorable display of the world’s game."
For the fifth time, the All-Star Game will feature the best players in MLS against a high-profile international opponent. It is the most compelling and competitive All-Star format in North American professional sports and generates interest in many countries around the globe. Fans traveled to this year’s All-Star Game from several different states and countries and the game is being broadcast live on ESPN2 and Galavision.
"Toronto's passionate and knowledgeable fans have embraced MLS and hosting the 2008 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game provides a terrific stage to showcase Major League Soccer's exciting product," said Tom Anselmi, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. "This two-day event will make a significant contribution to profiling our world-class city in more than 100 countries, while providing a strong economic injection to tourism."
BMO Field, located at Exhibition Place near downtown Toronto, is Canada’s first soccer-specific stadium. With a capacity of 20,000 BMO Field is home to the Canadian National Soccer Team as well as Toronto FC, Canada’s first Major League Soccer team. BMO [prounounced BEE-mo] Field is also used for community soccer purposes, corporate functions and concerts and is one of the host venues for the third most watched sporting event in the world, the FIFA U-20 World Championships in July 2007.
The MLS All-Stars won the first three meetings against international opponents, outscoring them 8-2. In 2006, the MLS All-Stars defeated two-time defending Premier League Champions Chelsea FC, 1-0, on a goal by Houston Dynamo midfielder Dwayne De Rosario. In 2005, the MLS All-Stars defeated English Premier League club Fulham FC, 4-1, at a sold out Columbus Crew Stadium and in 2003, the MLS All-Stars downed storied Mexican club CD Guadalajara, 3-1, at The Home Depot Center with Carlos Ruiz capturing MVP honors.
Pepsi and Sierra Mist continue to support soccer in the United States by being the title sponsor of the MLS All-Star Game for the seventh consecutive year. Pepsi has been a corporate partner with MLS since the league’s inaugural season in 1996.
