* BEST OF THE WEB: Revs Could be Next in Line for MLS Stadium
Major League Soccer wants to build another soccer-specific stadium, this time in Boston, home of the New England Revolution.
MLS is in talks with the Kraft family about funding the stadium. The Boston Herald said the news was "met with approval on all sides," especially from Revs coach Steve Nicol, who called it a "fantastic" possibility. He noted that a deal is still a long way from being complete, partly because getting land in the Boston area, as he says, "is not the easiest thing in the world," but the high-interest level on all sides is a positive for the team. MLS plans to outfit each of its teams with soccer-only stadiums, a push that has been met with approval by most players and coaches. Revs midfielder Shalrie Joseph said, "It would be nice to have a soccer-specific facility. It helps us move forward."
MLS operates four soccer-specific stadiums: the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., which is shared by the Galaxy and Chivas USA; Pizza Hut Park, home to FC Dallas; Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio; and the newly opened Toyota Stadium outside of Chicago. Colorado and the 2007 expansion team Toronto FC both also expect to have soccer stadiums by next year, and Red Bull New York hopes to begin work soon on a stadium in Harrison, N.J.

Wed 28, Revs vs Dallas FC
NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION vs. FC DALLAS
Columbus Crew Stadium, Columbus Ohio – 7:30 p.m.
Complete Game Notes: http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/mls_n..._mls&fext=.jsp
The New England Revolution return to Gillette Stadium after a two-game road trip that saw them extend their streak of ties to four games - but they still haven't won in more than a month, since May 13 (seven games). The streak began with their first meeting against FC Dallas, a 4-0 loss in Frisco that was New England's worst defeat in nearly five years. FC Dallas came off a nearly two-week layoff at the weekend with a victory against the Colorado Rapids, the fifth win in the last seven games for the Western Conference leaders.
REFEREE: Abbey Okulaja. SAR (bench): Rick Eddy; JAR (opposite): Thomas Supple; 4th: Gus St. Silva
INJURY REPORT:
NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION - OUT: DF Marshall Leonard (L Achilles tendon repair); MF Leandro De Oliveira (R knee surgery); DF Joe Franchino (R ankle sprain); DOUBTFUL: DF James Riley (R ankle peroneal strain); MF Khano Smith (L knee); QUESTIONABLE: MF Daniel Hernandez (L ankle sprain); FW Pat Noonan (back); PROBABLE: MF Ryan Latham (abdominal strain); GK Doug Warren (R knee sprain)
FC DALLAS - OUT: FW Abe Thompson (L foot stress fracture); MF Ramon Nuñez (R quadriceps strain); DOUBTFUL: GK Jeff Cassar (R quadriceps tear)
INTERNATIONAL ABSENCES: none
SUSPENDED: none
WARNINGS: NE: Shalrie Joseph (suspended next yellow card) ... DAL: Carlos Ruiz (suspended next yellow card)
HEAD-TO-HEAD
ALL-TIME (26 meetings): Revolution 16 wins (1 shootout), 49 goals ... FC Dallas 9 wins (1 shootout), 37 goals ... 1 draw
AT NEW ENGLAND (12 meetings): Revolution 7 wins (1 shootout), 25 goals ... FC Dallas 5 wins (1 shootout), 19 goals ... 0 draws
This is the second of two meetings between the teams this season, both in the space of little more than a month, and the only one set for Gillette Stadium.
A year ago, the Revolution won both meetings, - including a remarkable comeback in their Bay State encounter in what many called the game of the year, Taylor Twellman's two goals in the 90th minute and after giving New England a 3-2 win.
The first game win this season snapped a four-game Revolution winning streak in the series, FC Dallas defeating New England for the first time since June 12, 2004. Since the 2001 season, Dallas has won just three times in 13 encounters between the clubs, with one draw.
Coaches record: Steve Nicol vs. DAL: P10 W7 L3 D0 ... Colin Clarke v NE: P7 W2 L5 D0
