Default WHO WILL BE MILAN'S MVP?

Simple enough.

Vote for who you think will be AC Milan's Most Valuable Player of the 2008-2009 Season.

You can explain your choice below

Yep...I'm not really for this whole mass-revamping that Milan have undergone this summer.

I think Rino will be the one to stand out this season...he has a lot to prove to himself and he is one of the best players to play when they're hungry

I agree with Jager's statement, AC Milan are in for a very difficult season. They signed Shevchenko who surely isn't as good as he once was, Senderos is an average defender at best, Maldini, Nesta and Kaladze are all ahead of him, as far as I'm concerned. Ronaldinho is past his past, I feel. Once the best player in the world since Maradona, now an out of form forward. If you watched the Olympics, you could see that Ronaldinho barely moves anymore, he just stays on the left wing, waiting for the ball, and he doesn't try to beat defenders anymore, he rather opts for the simple pass. Flamini was a good signing, but it's still unclear what his role will be, seeing as Gattuso and Pirlo are indispensable and that Ambrosini is one of Ancelotti's personal favorites. Speaking of Gattuso, he is one of the players which must please the Milan fans, seeing as he admitted he wanted to move to FC Bayern. Is he up for the task? Honestly, I don't think so. Then you have Seedorf who has been a definite starter in all these years, so it's guaranteed that he won't feel very comfortable with a sub role. There is also Kaka, who apparently would welcome a move to Chelsea, so his mind might not be 100% in Italy anymore. Finally, there is Nesta, who I considered to be the best center-back in the world a few years back, now a very injury prone and aging defender. Which leaves Milan with Andrea Pirlo, to once again carry the team on his shoulders.

Milan has refused to rebuild, and this really could destroy them for good. Its imperative they get a CL spot, they just have too or else.

I dont know that they have rebuilt but they brought in dinho a bit old but he still a damn good player, and brought zambrotta back to italy...one of the better players at his position i think...They still have kaka who had an off season last season but his career isnt over yet not by far they have pirlo arguably one of the best set kickers in the world and gattusso one of the more hard nosed players ive ever seen play...they are aging, but i dont think they are TOO old...Id say dinho is going to be the MVP though

I think Milan will pick-up as the season progresses. They have had a bad start to the season with the two defeats. There seems to be work going on in the Milan team that may not pay-off until next season but with the experience they have, I dont see the bad run going on too long.

I voted for Ronaldinho simply cause he's regained the joy of playing.
The reason he went so down in Barça was because his morale was low.
Ron with high morale is magic.

I saw it in the Olympic Games and i saw it in Milan vs Inter. He was playing like a litle boy in the "favela". Enjoying every second.
