Reports are suggesting that he's sent his agent to Italy to try and secure a move to Milan, possibly on loan until the end of the season then a permanent deal in the summer.

A loan move would be good for Milan, but nothing more. Ronaldo will not cure the temp. scoring problems. This club has been a disaster since Shev left...i think he is the only one who can revive them! The core of the team is still there...they just lack confidence

Yeah, I can see that being a good partnership.

It'll be interesting to see whether they play Ronaldo as an out-and-out striker (like he is for Madrid) or as a forward (like he was at Inter before his knee injury).

Galliani said today that Milan would be happy to acquire his contract, as long as they didn't have to pay a transfer fee and he agreed to significantly lower wages than what he is currently on. I must confess that I am missing the point of the whole thing (assuming that there is one).

Well he still has another year left on his Madrid contract so Galliani's comments are complete nonsense as far as I'm concerned. If Milan really want him they'll have to pay Madrid and give him a fairly decent contract as well whether they like it or not.

I rather Milan sign him on loan for the remainder of the season and not until 08. But for Milan i hope i'm wrong, but i don't think he will make a major impact on the team. Hopefully Gila and Ronaldo become a good partnership.
